Kommo Alternative: A Kommo CRM Alternative for WhatsApp Broadcasts Without Per-Seat Pricing
Kommo charges per user and bills six months up front, and WhatsApp broadcasting starts on its $35 Advanced plan. If your team mostly sends campaigns to a customer list, you are paying for a CRM to do a sender's job. Put your team size and message volume on the right to see both bills.
Kommo figures are quoted from Kommo's own pricing page and help center.
Kommo vs flat plan calculator
US recipientsKommo side: $35 per user on Advanced, the first plan with broadcasting, at the 6-month term. Both sides include Meta's $0.0034 US utility rate, which Meta bills to your own account either way. Our side uses monthly billing; yearly is half.
Kommo is a sales CRM priced per user: Base $25, Advanced $35 and Pro $45 per user per month, with a 6-month minimum paid up front and no monthly option. WhatsApp broadcasting is listed from Advanced, so a three-person team that wants to send campaigns commits $630 before the first message goes out.
Kommo does not mark up WhatsApp itself; Meta bills its per-message fee to your own WhatsApp Business Account. The better Kommo alternative therefore depends on the job. For pipelines and a shared chat inbox, look at another CRM or inbox tool. For sending WhatsApp campaigns to a list you already own, a campaign tool priced by messages and billed month to month is the cheaper fit.
Kommo pricing, and what each plan does for WhatsApp
These are the prices Kommo's pricing page shows for its default 6-month term, in US dollars, which is the only currency Kommo bills in. Kommo says standard discounts apply to 9, 12 and 24 month terms.
| Kommo plan | Per user, per month | Billed per user for 6 months | WhatsApp numbers | Broadcasting | Leads per user |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Base | $25 | $150 | 1 included, 1 more per extra user | Not listed | 2,500 |
| Advanced | $35 | $210 | 3, more per extra user | Yes | 5,000 |
| Pro | $45 | $270 | Unlimited | Yes | 10,000 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Quoted by sales | Unlimited | Yes | Custom |
Everyone is on the same plan
Kommo does not let you mix plans inside one account. If one marketer needs broadcasting, every paid user moves to Advanced. On a team of eight that is $80 a month more than Base, or $480 per six-month term, for one feature.
Six months, paid in advance
Kommo's FAQ says plainly that monthly payment is not available. Cancel and your access runs to the end of the term you paid for. The 14-day trial needs no card, which helps, but after that you are committing half a year at a time.
Free users are read-mostly
You can add free users, but Kommo limits them to viewing and chatting in the client profiles shared with them. Anyone who builds broadcasts, bots or pipelines needs a paid seat, which is where the per-user price starts to compound.
Kommo WhatsApp costs on top of the plan
Kommo's WhatsApp Business integration runs on Meta's Cloud API, and Kommo states it charges no fee of its own for it. Meta bills per delivered message to your WhatsApp Business Account. For US numbers that works out as follows.
| Message, US recipient | Kommo fee | Meta fee | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Utility template | $0 | $0.0034 | Order updates, reminders, account notices. |
| Marketing template | $0 | Not delivered | Kommo's help center confirms marketing templates are paused for all US (+1) numbers. |
| Service reply, until Sept 30, 2026 | $0 | $0 | Free-form replies inside the 24 hour window. |
| Service reply, from Oct 1, 2026 | $0 | $0.0034 | After 1,000 free per phone number each month. |
| Message a customer sends you | $0 | $0 | Always free. |

Kommo's help center, updated September 21, 2026, says Meta will deliver the first 1,000 service messages a month without a payment method but will not deliver the 1,001st. If your Kommo inbox runs on WhatsApp replies, add a card in Meta's Billing Hub now. The same rule applies on every provider, including ours, because the card sits with Meta. Our WhatsApp service messages page has the full change and a cost estimator.
Kommo vs WaBulkSend for WhatsApp campaigns
These are different products. Kommo is a CRM that happens to be very good at messengers. WaBulkSend is a WhatsApp campaign sender. The table is honest about where each one wins.
| What a buyer needs | Kommo | WaBulkSend |
|---|---|---|
| What the price is based on | Paid users, all on one plan | Messages sent a month (1,000, 10,000 or no cap) |
| Cheapest plan with WhatsApp broadcasting | $35 per user a month (Advanced) | $29 a month ($14.50 billed yearly) |
| Commitment | 6 months minimum, paid up front | Month to month, or a year at half price |
| Meta's WhatsApp fee | Billed by Meta to your account, no markup | Billed by Meta to your account, no markup |
| Sales pipeline, tasks and deal stages | Yes, the core product | No |
| Instagram, TikTok and Messenger inbox | Yes | No, WhatsApp only |
| AI agents | Up to 3 on Advanced, 50 on Pro | No |
| Contact import | Leads capped per user (5,000 each on Advanced) | CSV or Excel, duplicates merged, unlimited contacts stored on paid plans |
| Delivery reporting | Broadcast statistics | Status and failure reason per recipient |
| Best for | Sales teams working leads across several messengers | Businesses sending WhatsApp campaigns to a list they already own |
If your reps live in Kommo all day, moving deals through stages and answering Instagram and WhatsApp in one inbox, keep Kommo. Nothing on this site replaces that. The case for switching is narrower: your team bought Kommo mainly to broadcast order updates, reminders and offers on WhatsApp, and the per-user, six-month bill has outgrown that use. Many teams run both, keeping the CRM for sales and sending campaigns from a dedicated WhatsApp bulk messaging platform.
What the switch saves, by team size
Monthly cost with Meta's $0.0034 US utility fee included on both sides. Kommo on Advanced at the 6-month term; WaBulkSend on monthly billing.
| Team and volume | Kommo Advanced a month | Kommo due at signup | WaBulkSend a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 user, 1,000 messages | $38.40 | $210 | $32.40 |
| 3 users, 5,000 messages | $122.00 | $630 | $116.00 |
| 5 users, 10,000 messages | $209.00 | $1,050 | $133.00 |
| 8 users, 25,000 messages | $365.00 | $1,680 | $384.00 |
| 12 users, 50,000 messages | $590.00 | $2,520 | $469.00 |
The row where Kommo wins is worth reading. At eight users and 25,000 messages, Kommo Advanced is about $19 a month cheaper, because our no-cap plan is $299 and eight Kommo seats cost $280. Below that, a small team pays more for Kommo seats than for a campaign plan, and it pays six months at once. Kommo's longer 12 and 24 month terms are discounted, so the gap narrows if you commit for longer. Other Kommo alternatives, by what you use Kommo for
Pick the replacement by the job, not by a ranked list. Each of these solves a different part of what Kommo bundles.
You need a full sales CRM
HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho CRM carry deeper reporting and larger integration catalogs, and each connects to WhatsApp, natively or through a partner app. Our HubSpot WhatsApp integration page covers what that route costs.
You need a shared WhatsApp inbox
respond.io and Wati are inbox-first tools with lighter CRM features. Both price differently from Kommo: respond.io by plan with seat add-ons, Wati by plan and seat. See respond.io pricing and Wati pricing.
You need Instagram funnels
If most leads arrive as Instagram comments and DMs, ManyChat's comment-to-DM flows are the specialist tool, though it bills per active contact. The ManyChat WhatsApp pricing page runs the numbers.
You need WhatsApp campaigns
Import a list, pick an approved template, schedule it, and see delivery for every recipient. That is what WaBulkSend does, priced by messages from $29 a month with no seat count.
You need a CRM that stays small
If Kommo feels heavy because the team is two people, a simple WhatsApp CRM setup with labels and a contact list often covers it, and you keep the WhatsApp number either way.
Only sending campaigns?
Stop paying per seat for a pipeline you do not use. Priced by messages, billed monthly.

Questions buyers ask about Kommo alternatives
What is the best alternative to Kommo?
It depends on which part of Kommo you use. If you need a full sales CRM, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho are the usual picks. If WhatsApp is the main channel and you need a shared inbox, respond.io and Wati are closer matches. If what you really do in Kommo is send WhatsApp broadcasts to a customer list, a dedicated campaign tool priced by messages is the cheaper fit.
How much does Kommo cost?
Kommo's pricing page lists Base at $25, Advanced at $35 and Pro at $45 per user per month, with Enterprise quoted on request. The minimum subscription is 6 months, so Advanced is billed as $210 per user up front. Kommo says standard discounts apply to 9, 12 and 24 month terms. Every user on an account must be on the same plan. Our Kommo pricing breakdown adds the WhatsApp costs.
Can I pay for Kommo monthly?
No. Kommo's own FAQ says monthly payment is not currently available and the minimum subscription period is 6 months. If you cancel, access continues to the end of the paid term. That up-front commitment is the most common reason small teams look for a Kommo alternative they can pay for month to month.
Which Kommo plan includes WhatsApp broadcasting?
Advanced and above. Kommo's pricing page lists broadcasting, pipeline automation and no-code bots under Advanced at $35 per user per month. Base at $25 connects one WhatsApp number to the inbox but does not list broadcasting, so a team that wants to send campaigns starts at $210 per user for six months.
Does Kommo charge for WhatsApp messages?
Kommo itself adds no per-message fee. Its WhatsApp integration runs on Meta's Cloud API and Meta bills its message charges to your own WhatsApp Business Account. For a US number that is $0.0034 per utility template. From October 1, 2026 service replies are also charged after 1,000 free per phone number a month, as Kommo's help center explains.
Is Kommo good for WhatsApp?
Yes, if you want WhatsApp chats to land inside a sales pipeline. Kommo connects WhatsApp through Meta's Cloud API, supports using the WhatsApp Business app alongside it, and adds leads, tasks and AI agents around each chat. It is less of a fit when you only need one-to-many campaigns, because you pay per user for CRM features you will not open.
Does Kommo have a free plan?
No. Kommo offers a 14-day trial with full features and 10GB of storage, no card required, and then a paid plan with a 6-month minimum. You can add free users with limited rights who only see the client profiles shared with them, but the account itself needs a paid plan.
Can I move my WhatsApp number from Kommo to another provider?
Yes. The number and its approved templates belong to your WhatsApp Business Account, not to Kommo. Disconnect the integration in Kommo, then connect the same number and access token to the new platform. Export your contacts and consent records first, because chat history stored in the CRM does not travel with the number.
Send WhatsApp campaigns without paying per seat
Import your list, use your approved templates, schedule the send and see delivery for every recipient. Plans start at $29 a month, or $14.50 a month billed yearly, with Meta's fee at Meta's rate and no six-month lock-in.
