360dialog WhatsApp API Pricing, Plans and Alternatives: 360dialog vs Twilio Compared

360dialog charges a flat monthly fee per phone number and says it adds no markup on Meta's message fees. Twilio charges nothing monthly and $0.005 a message. Which one is cheaper is purely a question of how much you send, and because one price is in euros, the answer moves with the exchange rate.

Every euro and dollar figure on this page is quoted from the vendor's own published pricing page, checked September 5, 2026.

360dialog platform fee $53.90
Twilio, $0.005 per message $50.00
Published throughput 80 msg/sec

Cheaper on provider fees at this volume

Twilio

They cost the same at about 10,780 messages a month.

Provider charges only. Meta's per message fee is billed on your own WhatsApp Business Account and is the same figure behind both rows, so it is left out to keep the comparison honest. The exchange rate is yours to set, because 360dialog publishes in euros and the dollar cost of the plan moves with it.

How much does 360dialog cost?

360dialog publishes three WhatsApp API plans priced per phone number per month: Regular at €49, Premium at €99 and Advanced at €249, plus a Marketplace plan at €99. Meta's per message charges sit on top and 360dialog states it applies no markup to them. There is no setup fee on the published page and no per seat charge, which is unusual in this category.

The thing to understand before comparing it to anyone else: the tiers do not unlock features. They buy support response times and message throughput. That makes 360dialog cheap for a team with many agents and expensive for a business sending almost nothing, and it means the honest comparison against a per message provider like Twilio is arithmetic, not a feature grid.

360dialog plans and published prices

Every figure below is quoted from 360dialog's own pricing page as published on September 5, 2026. Prices are per phone number per month.

Plan Price Support target Throughput What the tier adds
Regular €49 Under 4 hours, 24/7 human support Not published Meta escalation, integrations, templates
Premium €99 Under 30 minutes Not published Business verification in 48 hours, MCP, add ons, measurement
Advanced €249 Priority support Up to 1,000 msg/sec Everything in Premium
Marketplace €99 24/7 support 80 msg/sec Number hosting, solution matching, messaging tool package

Meta's per message charges are billed separately against your WhatsApp Business Account on every plan.

What the tiers actually buy

Most WhatsApp platforms gate features behind plan tiers: a chatbot builder on one level, analytics on the next, more seats above that. 360dialog does not. Read its plan table and the differences are support speed, verification handling and throughput. That changes which questions you should ask before signing.

Support speed

Under 4 hours, or under 30 minutes

The step from Regular to Premium doubles the price and buys a response target of under 30 minutes instead of under 4 hours. That is worth paying for if a stalled template approval or a blocked number costs you a day of sending, and worth nothing if it does not.

Throughput

80 to 1,000 messages a second

This is the line that matters for campaign sending and almost nobody compares it. At 80 messages per second a 100,000 message broadcast takes about 21 minutes of continuous sending. At 1,000 per second the same broadcast clears in under two minutes.

Verification

Business verification in 48 hours

Premium lists business verification within 48 hours. Verification is the gate that raises your messaging limit and unlocks the green badge, so if you are launching against a deadline the faster tier can pay for itself once and then stop being worth it.

The part US buyers keep getting wrong: this price is in euros

360dialog is a European company and publishes in euros per number per month. Almost every US comparison post quotes a dollar figure for the €49 plan anyway, and those figures disagree with each other because they were converted on different days. One post currently describes the entry plan as "starting from $59 a month". That is a conversion someone did once, not a price 360dialog publishes.

Two practical consequences. First, your monthly bill in dollars is not fixed, and if you are budgeting a year of WhatsApp against a fixed number you are going to be wrong in one direction or the other. Second, and more usefully: the volume at which 360dialog becomes cheaper than a per message provider is not a constant. It moves with the exchange rate. The calculator at the top of this page recomputes it from whatever rate you put in, which is why it asks.

If your finance team needs one number to plan against, take the euro figure as the real price and treat the dollar amount as an estimate that will drift. That is the honest way to model it, and it is the reason our WhatsApp pricing calculator keeps provider fees and Meta's per message charges on separate lines.

360dialog vs Twilio vs respond.io

These three price on genuinely different axes, which is what makes the comparison worth doing properly. All figures are quoted from each vendor's own published pricing page. An enterprise CPaaS such as Infobip adds a fourth axis that none of these three use, a monthly minimum charged per active sender rather than per number, which we cover on our Infobip pricing page.

Provider Entry price Per message Seats Best for
360dialog €49 per number No markup stated Not metered Steady high volume, large teams
Twilio No monthly fee $0.005 in and out, $0.001 failed Not metered Low or spiky volume, developers
respond.io $79 Starter No markup stated 5 users, extras $12 Teams wanting a bundled inbox
Meta Cloud API No provider fee Meta rates only You build it Engineering teams who want no middle layer

The arithmetic that decides it: a flat €49 plan costs the same whether you send 500 messages or 500,000, while $0.005 a message costs $2.50 on the first and $2,500 on the second. Somewhere around ten thousand messages a month the ranking flips, and exactly where depends on the exchange rate that day. We work the same crossover through in more detail on the cheapest WhatsApp API provider comparison.

360dialog Partner Platform pricing

Separate from the direct plans, 360dialog sells a reseller tier for agencies and software vendors hosting WhatsApp numbers for their own clients. The shape is a monthly platform fee plus a per channel charge, and the per channel rate falls as the monthly fee rises.

Partner plan Monthly fee Per regular channel Channels included Support target
Starter €250 €49 5 Under 24 hours
Growth €500 €25 10 Under 4 hours
Premium €1,000 €15 20 Under 1 hour

The break even between tiers is straightforward. Growth costs €250 a month more than Starter and saves €24 per channel, so it pays for itself at about eleven extra channels. Premium costs €500 more than Growth and saves €10 per channel, so it needs roughly fifty. If you are an agency modelling this, count the channels you will actually have in twelve months, not the ones you have today.

About the "no markup" claim, and the posts that contradict it

360dialog's pricing page states there is no markup on Meta fees. Several third party comparison posts describe it differently, including one that presents 360dialog as "$49 base plus flat $0.005 per message". Those two things cannot both be true, and the vendor's own published page is the better source. We have not been able to find that per message figure anywhere on 360dialog's site.

This matters more than it looks, because almost every page ranking for 360dialog comparisons is published by a competitor selling against it. Read who wrote the page before you trust the number. When a WhatsApp provider writes the roundup that ranks their own product first, the pricing column for everyone else is the first thing that drifts.

The check that settles it: ask any provider to show you a sample invoice with the Meta pass through on its own line. A provider that genuinely passes Meta's rate card through at cost can produce that in a minute. One that cannot is bundling, and bundling is where the markup hides. Our guide to WhatsApp Business API pricing breaks down what Meta itself charges per category so you can check the pass through line yourself.

Who 360dialog fits, and who should look elsewhere

A good fit if

  • You send steady volume every month, where a flat fee beats a per message markup.
  • You have a large support team, because nothing here is priced per seat.
  • You already have your own front end and want API access and number hosting, not a bundled inbox.
  • You are an agency hosting numbers for clients and the Partner Platform per channel rate works out.

Look elsewhere if

  • Your volume is low or seasonal, where €49 a month buys very few messages.
  • You need a ready made agent inbox or a no code bot builder out of the box.
  • Your finance team cannot carry a euro denominated subscription that moves in dollars.
  • You want no provider layer at all, in which case Meta's Cloud API is the honest answer.

Frequently asked questions

How much does 360dialog cost?

360dialog publishes three WhatsApp API plans priced per phone number per month: Regular at €49, Premium at €99 and Advanced at €249. Its Marketplace plan is €99 per number per month. Meta's per message charges are billed separately on top, and 360dialog states it applies no markup to them. No setup fee is listed on the pricing page.

Does 360dialog charge a markup on Meta fees?

360dialog's own pricing page states there is no markup on Meta fees. Its plans are a flat monthly charge for hosting the number and supporting it, and Meta's rate card is passed through against your WhatsApp Business Account. Be careful with third party comparison posts here, because several describe 360dialog as charging a per message fee on top, which contradicts the vendor's own published page.

What is the difference between 360dialog Regular, Premium and Advanced?

The tiers buy support speed and throughput rather than extra product features. Regular at €49 lists 24/7 human support with a response target under 4 hours. Premium at €99 tightens that to under 30 minutes and adds business verification within 48 hours. Advanced at €249 adds priority support and raises throughput to up to 1,000 messages per second.

Is 360dialog cheaper than Twilio?

It depends entirely on volume, because the two price on different axes. Twilio charges $0.005 per message with no monthly platform fee, so its cost rises with every send. 360dialog charges a flat €49 per number per month with no per message markup, so its cost does not move. Below roughly ten thousand messages a month Twilio is usually cheaper, and above that 360dialog pulls ahead and keeps pulling ahead.

Why is 360dialog priced in euros?

360dialog is a European company and publishes its plan prices in euros per number per month. For a US buyer that means the dollar cost is not fixed, it floats with the exchange rate, and the volume at which 360dialog becomes cheaper than a per message provider moves with it. Third party posts quoting a dollar figure for the €49 plan are quoting a conversion, not a published price.

Does 360dialog charge per user or per seat?

No. The published WhatsApp API plans are priced per phone number per month and the pricing page does not list a seat count or a per user add on. That is a meaningful difference from respond.io, which prices per plan with a fixed number of users and charges for extras, and Wati, which publishes seat limits per tier. If you have a large support team, per number pricing usually works out cheaper.

What throughput does 360dialog support?

360dialog lists 80 messages per second on its Marketplace plan and up to 1,000 messages per second on Advanced. Throughput matters for campaign sending rather than for support inboxes, because it sets how long a large broadcast takes to clear. At 80 messages per second a hundred thousand message campaign takes roughly 21 minutes of continuous sending.

What is the 360dialog Partner Platform and who is it for?

It is the reseller tier, for agencies and software vendors who host WhatsApp numbers on behalf of their own clients. Starter is €250 a month plus €49 per regular channel with 5 channels included, Growth is €500 plus €25 per channel with 10 included, and Premium is €1,000 plus €15 per channel with 20 included. The per channel rate falls as the monthly fee rises.

What are the best 360dialog alternatives?

It depends what you are replacing. If you want the same flat fee shape, respond.io publishes $79 a month for Starter and also states it adds no markup on WhatsApp fees. If your volume is low or spiky, Twilio's $0.005 per message with no subscription costs less. If you want no provider fee at all, Meta's Cloud API is free to access and you build the integration yourself.

Does 360dialog include a shared inbox or a chatbot builder?

360dialog positions itself as API and number hosting rather than a full front end, which is the most common reason teams look for an alternative. Its plans list integrations, templates and support rather than an agent inbox or a no code bot builder. If your team needs a ready made place to answer conversations, you are buying that layer separately or choosing a platform that bundles it.
